By Car

Conveniently located in Scotland's central belt, The Elements is adjacent to the Almondvale Shopping Centre. This is accessed off junction 3 on the M8 Motorway and close to the A71.

To get to Livingston from Edinburgh:-
Follow the M8 westbound, exit the motorway at Junction 3 then follow the signs to Livingston. 

To get to Livingston from Glasgow:-
Follow the M8 westbound, exit the motorway at Junction 3 then follow the signs to Livingston. 


By Train

There are two railway stations in Livingston, the Livingston North station situated in the Deans area of Livingston and Livingston South situated in the Murieston area of Livingston. Both are a 10 minute bus / taxi ride to The Elements.

Bus services are available from both rail stations to The Elements via Livingston town centre.

  • First ScotRail run services every half hour between Edinburgh Waverley and Bathgate and stops at Livingston North.

  • First ScotRail also runs an hourly service between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh which stop at Livingston South.

By Bus

Livingston has a modern bus interchange facility adjacent to Almondvale Shopping Centre providing services within West Lothian and the surrounding areas. 

  • Services to Edinburgh, Falkirk and Glasgow are provided by First Bus (Tel: 08708 727271)
  • Services to Shotts, Lanark and Wishaw are provided by Blue Bus (Tel: 01501 820598) 
  • Services to Edinburgh and South Queensferry are provided by E & M Horsburgh (Tel: 01506 432251)
  • Services to Linlithgow are operated by Passenger Travel (Tel: 01506 651039) and E & M Horsburgh
